City West Villas

City West Villas is a development of four north-facing villas on West Street, inside a Toowoomba City heritage precinct and within walking distance of the CBD. Construction is commencing, with the villas releasing for sale shortly.

The design is deliberately deferential to its surrounds, with proportions, roof forms and detailing that read as part of the streetscape rather than an imposition on it, while delivering the amenity and efficiency owners now expect.

Design & sustainability

Each 108m² villa targets an average 7.9-star NatHERS rating, around 30% less energy to heat and cool than a standard 6-star home, helped by a north orientation, 9-foot ceilings and a 6.4kW solar system per villa.

Internally: open-plan living and dining with a study nook, a master suite with walk-in robe and ensuite, a second bedroom with built-in robe, dual bathrooms with the second including a separate toilet, and stone benchtops with Westinghouse appliances. Outside, a large alfresco, a private courtyard, and two covered car spaces per villa.
